How will this benefit you?
Information Sharing and Assessment will improve communication in different ways. It will create a common understanding across agencies about when and why a child/young person may need help. It will build practitioners confidence about when information about children/young people should be shared and how to make sure it is shared respectfully. It will encourage a common language and reduce the number of assessments practitioners have to complete. It will set up a simple secure Child Index so that practitioners know who to contact. This means practitioners will be able to contact and communicate with other practitioners more easily. Services for children/young people will be better coordinated and more effective.
